If a cardboard bike still sounds like a step too far, how about a wooden bike?
Designed in Strasbourg by BSG by Thierry Boltz and Claude Saos, the WOOD.b is constructed from an usual combination of beech plywood and steel.
Hand-made to order in France, and matched with a mixture of components old and new (from Brooks saddles to hydraulic disc brakes), this is certainly going to be a head-turning range of bikes when they go on sale later this year.
